Book Edit: 2022

I love reading. It’s a great way to wind my mind down at the end of the day, feels healthier than scrolling social media when there is down time, and it’s great for personal development! I listen to books, read physical copies and check out Kindle copies from the Dallas Library using the Libby App.

Reading List, Book Review, Designer Book Recommendations

30 books ya’ll! Some are great, some are so-so and some were kinda sad. I absolutely love anything by Taylor Jenkins Reid, historical fiction and memoirs. I also love books that have a interesting plot and keeps me engaged. I listen to a lot of books on Audible while I’m driving around and that accounts for at least 5 of the books on my list!

Went wild with the Fiction this year! I don’t often pick up chick lit, but every once in a while it’s the perfect genre for a casual read. Favorite this year were Daisy Jones and The Six, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, and In Five Years.

Page turners to me are the more intense fiction that keep you guessing and a little anxious. The Last Thing He Told Me and The Night Tiger fit the bill times 10! The House of Sand and Fog left me a little sad so I would totally skip it.

Learning from other peoples lives is my favorite form of personal development. Will always read a memoir or biography of female entrepreneurs and a book by anyone who is considered an expert in their field.

I read a ton of WW2 fiction this year and I loved them all. My favorites were The Paris Architect and The Rose Code.
