Colors of 2023: Vibrant Tones

White will never be out, it’s a tried and true classic. Can we all agree that color is also super amazing. Oh and it’s classic too. Have you seen images of or been to the Pink City in India. Been there forever. Classic and Pink. Guys I’m not trying to say you have to paint every room in your house PINK but I am saying that maybe you want to try to throw a little dazzle in with the all white schemes, think about it.

For the second installment, I’m going to push you a little further out of your comfort zone with Vibrant Tones! Don’t be scared sweetie. As much as I’d love for you to paint large swaths of your house with rich colors, I can understand that it’s not for everyone. I do think you can consider vivid shades for accent furniture, powder baths, laundry rooms and small accessories. It’s not all or nothing, just do something. Also think about how mixing colors can give you different outcomes. Remember the color wheel from art class? You can mix colors that are similar in shade (ie next to each other on the wheel) or for more punch consider mixing colors that are opposite one another!

I styled a few rooms to give you some ideas. You can also do a deeeeeeep dive on Pinterest! Enjoy!

Creating a vibrant space doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Personally, I love how “all-in” this look is but even if you consider a vibrant lamp, art, or other accessories; a little can go a long way. This design is also an example of mixing colors that are next to each other on the color wheel. Everything is mostly a warm color in the pink, yellow range.

This design is an example of mixing cool and warm colors or colors that are opposite on the color wheel. The contrast is so exciting!
